Weighing just 120 grams unstrung, this, and its brother the Slash 120 Power, are the lightest frames in the Slash V2 line-up, making them lightning-fast through the air and ideal for players who like to take the ball early with a short, sharp swing. 

Compared to the previous Slash, the V2 has been refined with a lower swing weight for even faster racquet head acceleration, as well as new Stabyl technology in the shaft to enhance stability and control. X-TOP construction at the top of the head means that this racquet has no bumper, instead, it's been replaced by a combination of active fibres for maximum strength, speed and playability.

The Slash V2 120 Control's smaller 461cm² head size and thinner shaft give it extra flex and responsiveness, allowing for greater touch and accuracy on delicate shots. Its 350mm balance point provides excellent maneuverability while still putting enough mass behind the ball to deliver good power.

With its bridged frame design and dense 14x18 string pattern, the Slash V2 120 Control delivers reliable control alongside a crisp, consistent feel. Strung with Tecnifibre’s 305 1.2mm strings, this racquet is tailor-made for precision hitters who want to dictate rallies with accuracy and sharp shot placement.

Maximum control with the SLASH 120 CONTROL squash racquet. It’s specially designed to suit competitors at a good playing level as well as regular players targeting accuracy. Designed for World Number One Mostafa Asal, the SLASH 120 CONTROL retains all the fundamentals on which its success has been built, with two of its main criteria redesigned: more speed and more stability.

Its weight remains 120 g, but its swing weight has been lowered to generate even more acceleration off the racquet head, with increased manoeuvrability for greater execution speed. Stabyl technology, a mesh fibre inserted into the shaft’s graphite has replaced the rubber ring for all-round performance in the details, greater control and hitting stability.

The fundamentals of the frame construction remain in place, with YOKE CONTROL TECHNOLOGY affording control over shot power and hitting control: round 461 cm² head for accuracy and forgiveness, a wide open core with inner reinforcements for added stability on impact and a thin 261 mm² shaft for maximum control. Pre-strung in 305 green, the benchmark for the squash market, and Tecnifibre’s most elastic string for the ultimate compromise between power and comfort.

The X-TOP revolution is also built in to the product. No bumper, 100% performance, a completely new racket head construction where the bumper has been replaced by a combination of active fibres for maximum strength, speed and playability. The plastic bumper has been replaced by a mix of aramid fibres, the most impact-resistant material, and a PTFE treatment to improve slide and protect the frame against abrasion from the floor or walls. Without the bumper, the racket becomes much smoother and penetrates the air better for a maximum swing speed and power. With the plastic replaced by a select material, there are more fibres in the racket for greater responsiveness and less vibration for greater comfort.

From an aesthetic point of view, we’ve reached the pinnacle of elegance and modernity, with a white base elevated with Tecnifibre corporate elements and a graphic fluorescent green stringbed developed with Mostafa who cut out the Tecnifibre logo. It symbolises his dynamic rise to World Number One!
